The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration is the largest faculty of VU Amsterdam. It accommodates approximately 4000 students, 1450 postgraduate students and 460 employees. The research area of the faculty covers the field of:

  • Economics
  • Econometrics
  • Business administration

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration seeks to combine high quality education with excellent research. It has several research groups with an outstanding international reputation. It consists of eight departments, of which the Department of Economics is the one contributing to the PPE programme.
